The most rewarding aspect of my work is assisting families in navigating the complexities of senior care. I’ve always had a special connection with older adults, and I’ve been fortunate to translate a passion for helping others into a fulfilling career in senior care. Every family and their loved one is unique, with distinct dynamics and challenges. At Senior Care Decisions we are here to guide you through the options available, working to ensure that your loved one’s dignity, rights, wishes, and needs are preserved and honored.

I started my senior care career as a Nurse’s Aide in a skilled nursing home while completing my undergrad degree in Communications at WMU. I also completed a master’s degree in Gerontology at the University of Massachusetts, earned a skilled Nursing Home Administrators license and became certified as a Dementia Practitioner. I went on to serve as an Executive Director of several assisted living and dementia care communities and as a licensed skilled nursing home Administrator.

After all my education and experience, I thought I knew everything about senior care and dementia. Then, I got a call from my dad, and he was confused. As my father’s dementia progressed, I learned what Senior Care looks and feels like from a family’s point of view. Navigating the senior care system is not easy. I’ve dedicated over two decades to serving older adults. I’ve encountered both the joys of connection and the pain of loss. Now I want to merge my personal and professional experience to help others. I find it very fulfilling to ease someone’s journey, and to help family members have peace of mind.
